TeraLeigh is an accomplished business professional
with more than 15
years experience in the diverse areas of law, marketing, and business
administration in both public and non-profit
companies.
Throughout her
career, with integrity, quality and professionalism, Tera has provided
clients and employers with broad array of services as a consultant in
financial, HR, and marketing strategy &
planning. One of her greatest strengths is the wide range of her
experience.
After passing the
bar in 1993, Tera worked primarily in law & motion, contracts and
intellectual property, until she joined Internet AdVenture in 1995 as
President of the start-up internet
marketing firm. After five years with Internet AdVenture, where she
learned hands-on business knowledge from the owner's perspective, she
went on to start her own business consultancy firm; working with
individuals, small
businesses, and corporate clients.
As an educator,
Tera taught New Media Marketing at UCLA and Cal State Long Beach
Extension Programs, has been Keynote, and Featured, Speaker at trade
shows, and was profiled on the cover of the Orange County Register
(California) Business Section for her work in New Media.
She has published
over 200 articles, and 70 projects, in dozens of magazines, and
published three art/creativity books with F & W Publications. Tera
is also a contributor to over a
dozen additional books on topics varying from art to intellectual
property to business "how-to". She has also been a guest on
national and local
Network television, and cable programs such as HSN, Christopher Lowell,
DIY network, and more.
Tera founded, and
worked as President of the Board of Directors, a non-profit charity
called the "Memory Box Artist Program". During her tenure with the
program, over 108,000 memory boxes were provided to
bereavement counselors at hospitals to be give to families that had
experienced the loss of an infant, free of charge to the hospital and
family. She believes that "giving back" is not just a catch
phrase. It is a way of life; an attitude that defines the quality of
one's life.

When she isn't
working, Tera loves to spend time with her three pound-rescued dogs;
Keeley, Bandit & Jake. She loves to hike, and any sport or activity
involving water; swimming, kayaking, white-water rafting,
and more. She is an avid traveler with a goal to visit every continent,
all 50 US States & Puerto Rico (only 10
left to that goal), and is always looking forward to her next
opportunity to travel. She enjoys "adventure travel", and has enjoyed
skydiving in Florida, hot air ballooning in Florida and California,
white-water rafting in Montana, and experienced seven laps with a
professional driver at 179 mph at Daytona International Speedway.
Tera is also active in her local church, and
enjoys attending services, as well as lending her skills as an
organizer and event planner for church programs. |
