Ashleigh has the most unique eyes I have ever seen; one is blue, and the other brown! How cool is that? She also has a horse with one blue and one brown eye!
When we went to her family’s property, we got some gorgeous photos against the old red barn that has been on the property for a very long time. There were also some cool old tractors, fences, and a ton of beautiful trees. It was worth the drive just to see this gorgeous section of Oklahoma!
Ashleigh, you were a rock star! Thanks so much for choosing me to do your photos!

Jennifer, a rock-star Senior at Prague High School in Oklahoma, had been sick and wasn’t able to get her Senior pics taken when she wanted to earlier this Spring. So, as these things do, as soon as she booked her photo shoot, the weather turned chilly, and it was 40 degrees when we took her out to shoot her photos. I always like to start with the dressiest outfit (your hair is naturally going to get a little more messy as the shoot progresses, and that looks best with more casual hair), so Jennifer was in her prom dress first thing that morning. What dedication is that?
Jennifer has a gorgeous face, and she was an absolute trooper as she changed out of her prom dress into jeans and a t-shirt in the back of her mom’s Ford Escape (which matched mine!) on a country road. It turned out to be the star of hunting season (or something like that), so the little country roads that usually see little traffic had quite a few people stopping to check out what we were doing! (What, you don’t usually see a big zebra print chair in the middle of this bridge? Huh. Odd!)
Here are some of Jennifer’s photos. Just click on one of the photos below, and then you can click on the right side of that picture to cycle through the set.

Last week, I had a great time with two very young ladies . . . Trinity, who is about 18 months old, and Nancy, who just turned one. These young ladies are cousins, and they were a handful! Trinity’s mom, Amanda, brought both girls, and we set up for photos w

While Barney got in the action, and there was dancing, and lots of singing of “I love you . . . you love me . . .”, this was a fairly sober photo session. While smiling babies are always great for pictures, there is something so endearing about a baby who is a little pouty!
I was very grateful when I spoke to Amanda a few days later and she told me she was sore! I thought, “boy, am I getting old . . . those toddlers wore me out!” I felt much better to know that Amanda, who is used to toddlers, also felt a bit weary!
At one point, even Barney got in on the action, when he was decorated wearing floral headbands. Really, Barney has never looked so stylish!
As always, just click on one of the photos below, and then just click on the right side of the photo to cycle through and see the full set.
