How It Works

Congratulations on purchasing your  coupon for photography services!  I hope you are thrilled with nabbing this awesome deal! I’m thrilled we will be working together!

Here are answers to some questions you may have.

Q: Where are you located?
A: I am located in Prague, Oklahoma near Shawnee, OK. I am happy to come to you, or if you want a more rural atmosphere, you can come to me. I have many, many cool places to shoot your photos in OKC and beyond. With this deal, all mileage charges are waived!

Q: What is the best way to contact you?
A: The contact link at the top of this page will send a email to me directly. You can also reach me via phone at 405.567.7797. Either way, I will do my best to get back to you within 24 hours. Please let me know what time it is best to contact you. I usually return calls in the afternoon and evening. Please be sure to mention your coupon when you contact me!

Note: Online booking now available here! Choose “Groupon prepaid session” or “Living Social prepaid session” under appointment type! This is important or it will require you to make full payment for your session!

Q: What kinds of photos can I use the coupon for?
A: The coupon is for portraits, not events. So, for example, you can have your engagement or post-wedding “Trash the Dress” session, but not the wedding itself.  Portraits include families, children, infants (I LOVE doing newborn photos), Maternity, Engagement, Rock the Frock (prom) or Trash the Dress (post wedding pics for the bride), Business, Holiday, etc.  The coupons also make great gifts!

Q: How do you work?
A: I usually work alone when I take your photos.  I have my own unique style, and too many people can interfere with getting the best result. Occasionally, I may bring an assistant to help with my equipment. I also do all my own photo editing, so you can be sure that your images will reflect the style you see on my site.

Q: When can we schedule?
A: Dates are subject to availability and specific dates are not guaranteed. All Living Social sessions must take place before the expiration date and should be scheduled one week in advance.This campaign, and this time of year, will make for a very busy schedule for me for a while. My calendar will fill up, but you have six months to book. I will do everything I can to get your photos done when you want them, but my schedule is on a “first come, first served” basis.

Q: What if our schedules don’t meet up, can I get a refund?
A. No, there are no refunds. Sessions are scheduled based on availability on a first come, first serve basis. It is your responsibility to contact me to schedule as soon as possible. No refunds for any reason, no exceptions. Keep in mind that the holidays are a very busy time.  If you can’t use your voucher now, you have the six months to use it.

A: What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your photo session for any reason, please give me at least 48 hours notice. If you fail to do so, you will forfeit your Living Social voucher. I understand things come up and I will work with you if given proper notice.

Q: Can I change my outfit?
A: Absolutely! I want you to get the most out of our time together. Just plan carefully so you can change quickly. I always suggest putting on your dressiest outfit first (when you hair will look it’s best) and then got progressively more casual with each change. I recommend 2  – 3 changes per hour. Please read my “What to Wear” section for the best results! I also have make up hints in this article. The deal covers your first 90-minutes.  If you need more time, each additional hour is $45.00. I will let you know when we are at the end of the first hour, so you can decide if you want to add more time. I will never add more time without your permission!

Q: How is the time calculated?
A: I “start the clock” when we start shooting. Unlike many photographers, I don’t charge for my initial set up time when my clients purchase a package deal. That means that the clock starts when I take my first photo, and runs for one hour after that – including lighting changes, you changing clothes, etc. If you need more time, each additional hour is $45.00. I will let you know when we are at the end of the first hour, so you can decide if you want to add more time. I will never add more time without your permission!

Q: Do I have to come to you in Prague?
A: No, but you are welcome to, if you wish. Most of the photos in my portfolio were shot in this area. The benefit of that is that your photos will be unique from anything people in your are have. That said, there are cool places to shoot everywhere, and I’m happy to travel to you. Although I usually charge for travel, included in the deal is my travel time to anyplace in the OKC metro and suburbs.

Q: Where do we take the photos?
A: That is up to you and what you want in your pictures. We can shoot at your home, or a family member’s home if they have a place you really love, or we can use city parks for outdoor pictures. If you want a more urban look to the photos, we can go to a downtown area. You can come out to me, or I will come to you. (For shoots with children under 5, I always suggest that I will come to you.) If you want both “natural” and urban pictures, we can go to both areas, as long as they are within a few minute’s drive of one another. We will discuss where to shoot before the session so we can maximize our time together.

Q: What if I want more prints?
A: You are welcome to buy any photos you like via my web site. I work with a very high quality printer, and you will find my prices are comparable! Prints range in price from $11.00 and up. There is something for every budget. ***NOTE***
 The images are ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE ONLINE GALLERY FOR TWO WEEKS per my standard business policies. If you do not order within that time period the album will be removed for space. If you need your album reposted, there will be a $25 fee that must be paid via PayPal prior to reposting. It will then be available for an additional TWENTY days.

Q:  Can I print my own photos?
A: No. In order to control the quality of the images produced from my work, I require that all prints go through a printing service that produces high quality images. That said, I think you will be happy with the prices, and there are package deals that bring the prices down even lower! Check out the pricing link, here!

Q: Which two photos will I receive as my two photos?
A: You will choose out of your gallery! Don’t order them through the site, let me know, and I’ll order and pay for them and have them sent directly to you.

Q: I would like to use these for a modeling Portfolio. Is that okay?
A: Yes! You are welcome to use the photos on the disc for any online use.

Q: Can I use the Coupon for Greeting Card Photos?
A: Yes! But, sessions are first-come, first served. I will work as many hours as I can to ensure that all my clients get what they want, but this is one of the busiest times of year for me.The later you book, the less likely we will be able to get your session in time for the holidays. That said, I will do my very best to accommodate you. You will have a choice of many different cards starting at $1.59 each.

Q: How many pictures will I get?
A: For most sessions, you will get 10 – 20 images. The more you are active in the shoot, the more choices you will have. I will walk you through modeling basics, and help you create the most flattering poses, but if you tend to be comfortable in just a few poses, then you will find you have less to choose from. Some of my more daring clients may have as many as 50 choices, because they are willing to try more poses, and come up with some of their own, as well.

Q: What kind of editing do you do?
A: I go through all your images and choose the best (most flattering, and best technically – in focus, nothing distracting, etc.) from each pose and outfit. Not every pose will work in a photo. Because I am in this with you, and I only look good if you look good, I work hard to make sure that you look great in your photos.  Once I have chosen the best of the set, I will retouch the images digitally to remove any blemishes, bruises, cuts, etc. from the skin, minimize dark circles, etc.  All the images you will see in your gallery will have these basic edits completed.

Q: How soon can I see my photos?
A: After your photo session, you will receive a password to your gallery within 2 weeks. You will be able to purchase prints online.  Just look at each image, and then click on the “view all products” link to see all the products available. These range from simple prints, to canvas, to key chains, Christmas cards, announcements, and more. You can pay for all additional purchases via PayPal, so you know your money is secure. You are welcome to share your Gallery with friends and family! Everyone will love to see your photos!  Not only are the prices affordable, there is flat rate shipping charges that range from $3.50 for First Class mail to $11.25 for Fed Ex Next Business Day; you can choose!

Q: What is the ‘Modeling 101″ lesson?
A: To get the most out of your portrait session, you need to feel comfortable. I will walk you through some basic poses, what looks good on camera, and what doesn’t. Sometime a pose that feels odd in person will look great on camera. Remember, I don’t look good if you don’t look good, so I have a vested interest in seeing that you look your best! The more you are willing to move and pose, the more choices you will end up with in your gallery.

Q: Can I buy more than one coupon?
A: Yes! You can use up to 3 vouchers at one time (for a group of up to six people), and purchase as many as you like for gifts.

Q: I didn’t buy the deal through Wimgo, Living Social or Groupon, will you still give me that price?
A: No, I’m sorry. The deal was created, and promoted, through a specific company. I cannot give the package to anyone who did not purchase through them. This is a one-time offer!
